At Solace Counseling Services, we believe that therapy is a courageous journey toward healing, empowerment, and coming home to yourself. Life presents challenges, and at times, unresolved trauma or emotional pain can leave us feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected. Our mission is to support you in navigating these moments with compassion and clarity.
We understand that trauma doesn’t always have a visible form. It may show up as chronic stress, difficulty trusting others, overwhelming emotions, or patterns that feel hard to break. Wherever you are on your path, we're here to walk alongside you with care, insight, and practical tools tailored to your unique needs.
Solace Counseling Services was founded by Andrea, a dedicated therapist with a passion for helping individuals rediscover their inner strength and resilience. With years of clinical experience and a deeply empathetic approach, Andrea created Solace to be a space where healing feels possible.
I believe that therapy is a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and empowerment. It’s about reconnecting with your inner strength, building resilience, and finding meaningful ways to move through life’s challenges. As your therapist, my role is to walk alongside you—to offer support, compassion, and guidance every step of the way.
Throughout our lives, each of us will face experiences that leave a mark. Trauma, in particular, doesn’t always look the way we expect it to. It can show up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, feeling disconnected, or struggling to trust others. Left unaddressed, it can quietly impact our relationships, our confidence, and our sense of self.
My approach to therapy is integrative and always tailored to your unique needs. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Practices, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Faith-Based Counseling (upon request).
